Today's vendor is none other than my sweet Grammy, Joyce Rogers. We've asked her to come sell some of hers as well as my grandfather, Adrian Rogers', books. I hope you're able to come see her and say hello. I know she would enjoy seeing each one of you.

Some of the books she will have are:

The Adrian Rogers Legacy Bible (which is a TERRIFIC Christmas gift). It is filled with sermons condensed to a few paragraphs each, Adrianism, and more. It is a wonderful treasure and I cannot tell you how special mine is to me. If you don't already have one, I really urge you to pick one up. She will only be bringing a limited number of these, and they are first come, first serve.

Adrianisms 1 & 2 - These are wonderful gifts books that contain fun and meaningful quotes that we all remember so well. Again, if you don't have these, come check them out.

Lean Hard on Jesus & Grace for the Widow - Both by my grandmother, and they are FABULOUS reads. The first for anyone who has, is, or will face hard times (and, yes everyone is included in that), and the second for anyone who has recently been widowed. This is a great gift also if you know someone who has been.

All of these books will be offered below their normal price, so you are sure to get a GREAT deal. So, be sure not to miss out on these treasures.

Don't forget that there are only a few days left to enter the GIVEAWAY. Please be sure to help us advertise on facebook and your blogs, etc. Then, don't forget to go leave comments HERE saying you did to get entered to win some awesome prizes.

Alright... who here would like to be just a little (or a lot) skinnier without having to put a whole lot of work into? Duh, right??

Let me introduce you to a little thing called It Works... they have amazing body wraps that literally shrink your body by getting out your toxins, etc. Now, I know, I know this sounds pretty much too good to be true, right?

Well.... I have tried these, and let me assure you... IT REALLY DOES WORK.

They are awesome. Now obviously if you're sitting around not watching what you eat and not exercising at all, this inches will eventually come back (after a couple of months). But, if you are doing those things, the results are long lasting. It's like an extra boost to all the hard work you've been doing.

Combined with my exercise routine, the inches I've lost with the wraps hasn't come back. These things are awesome. And... they do WONDERS for toning up that flabby, ugly after baby belly. Trust me, I had it ... I KNOW.

You can wrap your arms, legs, face, neck, stomach....whatever.

The facial one really does give you results similar to a face lift.

So... come by and get wrapped on the spot. You can also buy more to do on yourself at home. You will see some results in as little as 45 min, but you won't see the full results until 3 to 4 days (during that time you MUST drink the recommended amount of water each day to thoroughly flush the toxins out of your system... this is key to it working).

The wraps are normally $30 each, but will be offered for a special price of $25. Come check it out...

And what better gift could you give for Christmas than the gift of skinniness? (I do however recommend you know your audience on this one.. don't want to give a wrap to someone who isn't in the "know" of their need for one =))

I am always so excited about this vendor: The Open Door. They offer handpainted rugs, placemats, tablerunners, and home decor items! I just LOVE these rugs. The first one pictured has been in my kitchen for the past 2 years, and it looks just as good as the day I got it (mopped on and all). They really do add a lot to your kitchen. These rugs are normally just $40, which is a steal... but for this ONE DAY ONLY they will be $30.... WOW.

And, she's coming all the way from Jackson, MS, so be sure to come check out her items. She doesn't have a website, so to get one you've got to come to Christmas in the Valley. These are just a few of her many designs. She's got something for everyone. I'm definitely looking to get placemats this year. These really are GREAT gift items, so come out and get one for yourself and your family and friends on your shopping list.

Today's vendor is Mitts, Piggys, & Paws - Baby Hand & Feet Impressions. They make some adorable hand and foot impressions. These are such a wonderful keepsake (and great gifts for the grandparents, too). If you haven't had impressions made for your children, this would be a terrific time to do it. Be sure and bring them along with you to shop, so they can have their impressions made. It only takes a few seconds to do. She then uses the mold to create a beautiful design.

She will be offering these adorable ornaments for a special price of $15 (normally $25). Any color/ribbon you choose. And, trust me, there are lots of choices, so come check her out.

Here are some other designs that she offers! She also has some of the cutest children's jewelry I've seen (and you can be sure my little diva loves wearing her personalized necklace that amy made her.) I also love the silver thumbprint jewelry for mamas. Be sure to stop by and check out all that she has to offer. I think I may just need to get a reindeer this year... LOVE it.

Oh, and want an extra chance to win the GIVEAWAY??? Like Mitts, Piggys, & Paws on FB and go HERE saying you did. Also, you can share the link to the Christmas in the Valley Blog on your Facebook page AGAIN today (even if you've already done it once) for another chance to win. Be sure to leave an extra comment saying you did.

Vendor Spotlight 10

Today’s vendor is 31 Gifts. This is a relatively new company that offers various gift items that are just so adorable. I just recently had my very first 31 party and won $180 in FREE PRODUCTS. If I were smart, I would’ve used that for gifts, etc, but I just loved everything so much that I kept it all for myself. The stuff they offer is that good. And there’s still more that I’d like to have, so I’m so excited that they will be coming to Christmas in the Valley. You can browse through their latest catalog here.

Here are a few of my favorites that I got, but in different prints:

(the large utility... only $30 and great to tote all of your stuff around. LOVE this one. You'll use it ALL the time.)

(The wristlet wallet... I LOVE this one as well. For a mom on the go... it's amazing. It keeps my keys, phone, and wallet all together. I can throw it in the diaper bag or purse or carry it alone. You NEED one of these. only $22)(The metro retro bag ... $52...but a great investment. I have it in grey/cream dots with brown trim and use it as a diaper bag/purse in one. It's big enough for 2 sets of diapers/cups etc, but doesn't look huge or bulky either. LOVE it.)So, what's the special? Well, the montly special 31 will be offering is spend $31, get a soft wallet, all in one utility tote, flat iron case, cinch sac, or pencil case for only $5. These are some great choices. Here are pics of the wallet, cinch sac, and tote. And, of course there are a variety of fabrics to choose from! And if that wasn't exciting enough... Tonya will have a special "tree of 31 goodies" for you to pick from for every $50 you spend. I'm VERY excited to see what all she'll have to choose from. Be sure to come check it out... you will LOVE 31.

Today’s vendor is a personal lifesaver, Karen’s Kasseroles. I don’t know how I’d get through the busy holiday season without her. Karen offers frozen casseroles that she will be selling straight from the freezer the day of the event. First come - first serve on these. She brings A LOT, but always sells out, so be sure to stop by early. She also takes orders for a variety of things including cakes, soups, casseroles, some pretty amazing toffee, hot fudge sauce, and much more. Last year, we stocked up on her delicious cornbread stuffing, hashbrown casserole, squash casserole, and several other things to help us out with our Thanksgiving meal. It was delicious, and with having to be 2 to 3 places in one day, a definite LIFESAVER. And, with Thanksgiving just the week after the event, she will be bringing lots of Thanksgiving goodies (dressing, casseroles, pies, and more).

Karen will have samples out to taste, so be sure to stop by and see what all she has to offer. Including not only delicious casseroles, but also desserts that are to DIE for. She usually has her hot fudge sauce and toffee out to try, too. And, don't forget to go enter our GIVEAWAY for your chance to win some of this delicious hot fudge for yourself. You definitely want to stop by Karen's booth. Below is her menu and price list.

Karen's Kasseroles 2011 Menu

Any orders made that day will be buy 2 items, get 1 half off. So, clear out your freezers to make room, and be sure to stock up. You won’t be sorry you did.

Vendor Spotlight 7

Today’s vendor is Scentsy. If you have never heard of Scentsy before, you are missing out. A few years ago I was introduced to Scentsy, and boy has it transformed our home. So, what is Scentsy, you ask? Well, they are flameless, scented “candle” burners! How do they work? You purchase wax scent bars, then place them on top of a plug in burner that melts the wax, allowing the fragrance to fill your home.

Before Scentsy, we were always purchasing candles. Our favorite was Yankee Candles, and at $30/candle, it added up quite fast. They smelled good, but only scented the room that you had them burning in. While Yankees lasted longer than the average candle, they still did not have a very long lifespan.

We bought our first Scentsy burner at Christmas in the Valley 2 years ago, and boy have we NOT been disappointed. The burner cost approximately the same as a Yankee, but lasts forever. All you have to do is buy new scents, which are only $5 each. They easily last for 2 months or more. Over time, this comes out SO much cheaper than any candle you can find.

Not only is it affordable, wonderfully fragrant, and fashionable, but it is also easier and safer than traditional candles. All you do is plug it in. No matches, no remembering to blow it out, no messy wax residue melting down the side of the candle – just plug it in and leave it all day and night, if you like. And... as I've recently learned... even relatively easy to clean out of the carpet if your 1 year old knocks it down while the wax is melted (although I recommend keeping it FAR out of their reach...)

These are terrific for gifts or for yourself. If you’re a lover of candles, you will absolutely LOVE this product. There is rarely a time when someone come to our house and doesn’t immediately say, “What is that wonderful smell?” I happily tell them about this great product.

And, Lisa gives a portion of all of her sales to World Vision, so know that you’re supporting a fabulous cause.

The special will be 10% off their warmer of the month, which is shown below. Isn't that so pretty?

Also, she'll be having package deals where she throws in a special bonus for each $100 you spend in product. This is one of the BEST Christmas gift items I can think of.

And, I'm loving these cute wall plug ins. ($20)

Here are some of my favorite full sized burners. But, really, you need to see them in person.. because the pics just don't do them justice. Come check it out and smell all the scents in person.

I cannot tell you how excited I am about The Chipper Chickie. I absolutely LOVE these adorable burlees. I mean really the pictures speak for themselves here:

Aren't they adorable? I'd love to have one for each occassion. I included the Kentucky basketball pic, because she will be bringing TIGERS ones like that to Christmas in the Valley. I know there are some tiger fans out there who'd love to have that for their front door.

So... not only are these so fun... but the prices are just ridiculously good! They normally range from $30 (sports), $35 (turkeys, most Christmas), to $40 (snowman & nativity)....

BUT GET THIS.... She will be slashing prices to $10 OFF all items for this ONE DAY ONLY. So, start making your lists... these are great for yourself and for Christmas gifts. Don't miss out on this. I mean, really... this is a STEAL.

And, want an extra entry in our giveaway? Like The Chipper Chickie on FB, then go HERE and say you did.

Today’s Vendor Spotlight is another one of my favorites, BeautiControl. Everything will be marked down from 20 to 50 % off. She’ll have all kinds of package deals, as well. These are perfect gift ideas and already come in cute packaging for you. How easy is that?

For those of you who aren’t familiar with BeautiControl, they offer a wide variety of Spa and Makeup products. I think I have yet to come across a BC product that I DON’T like. Their spa products are simply to die for. I love nice, long relaxing baths, and let me tell you, my BC products are definitely a treat after a long day. I think I may just need to restock my supply.

A few years ago I was also converted to BC’s makeup products. I can tell you that I immediately began to see a difference in my complexion and the longevity of my makeup. By the end of the day, BC products stay on your face, leaving you looking pretty much the same that you did after your initial application. I was also surprised at just how affordable their makeup products are.

PLUS as an exciting bonus this year, coming along with BeautiControl will SKIRKLE. That’s right, Niki Berry, my BeautiControl rep has recently joined up with a fabulous (and totally non-related) company called SKIRKLE. So what is Skirkle? It's simply a card that you show to participating businesses, and they give you an awesome discount. To see businesses and discounts, go to their site and read up on it.

SKIRKLE cards are normally $25 (and well worth every penny), but for this ONE DAY ONLY cards for a discounted price of $15. What a GREAT deal. I mean REALLY.. it's AWESOME. But, wait... it doesn't end there. Buy 2 for $20... Yep.. that's 2 for LESS than the price of ONE. This is a ONE TIME ONLY SPECIAL.. so come snatch em up while you can. (limit of 8 cards per person... so get one for yourself and 7 other people on your Christmas list.)

I am a proud skirkle card owner, and have been LOVING the great discounts I’ve received at lots of the areas best restaurants, boutiques, etc. From free appetizers, percentages off our entire purchase, free drinks, to free sitting fees at Paint a Piece (love that), the discount list just goes on and on and on. It’s like the popular coupon books, but even better, because you’re able to use the discount EVERY time you go to that place. Not just a "one and done" deal like a coupon. PLUS, as long as it doesn’t state otherwise, you can combine your SKIRKLE discount with coupons. Woohoo.

Check out their website at www.skirkle.com and come to Christmas in the Valley to buy your discounted skirkle card. These would also make great gifts. (A gift that saves you money throughout the whole year is the gift that just keeps on giving. Who wouldn’t love that?)

Oh yeah, and for an extra entry in our GIVEAWAY... go like SKIRKLE on FB and leave a comment HERE saying you did.

I am personally so excited about today’s new vendor. We will be having Styling Castle Salon come out and offer HAIR FEATHERS for only $10. I have been secretly wanting to get one.. and think I may just take the plunge! They have a wide variety of colors and sizes. So whether you want to bring your daughter out to get a fun, colorful one or if you want a more subtle one for yourself, stop by and get your feather! And, the best part is: if you get tired of it, you can simply take it out whenever you want.

They’ll also be offering style consultations, as well as a $10 off coupon to anyone who stops in for a consult. So come by and let them tell you about how they can transform your look to a “new you” just in time for the holiday season (and all those pictures that come with it)

I used to reception at Styling Castle in high school, and it is a fabulous, Christian owned salon that you will fall in love with.

Here are just a few pics of some of the feathers they offer.

Want an extra entry in the Christmas in the Valley Giveaway? Friend them on Facebook and comment HERE saying you did. Already friends with them? That's fine.. you can still get an entry.. just go leave me a comment saying you're already friends with Styling Castle. They are always posting specials/sales for hair products, etc on their page... so be sure to head over and check it out.

Vendor Spotlight 3

I am so excited about today’s vendor. It is Little Hatchers children’s clothing, and boy do they offer some cute things. Not only do they do appliqué and monogramming, but they offer cute jumpers, jon jons, dresses, and skirts at AMAZING prices.

For instance... the Jon Jon's are normally a mere $34, which includes APPLIQUE and MONOGRAM! But, on that day... she's offering an additional 10% OFF EVERYTHING. At $38 for a-line dresses, $34 for long sleeve dresses, and $24 for infant gowns (all prices include monogram & applique of your choice), this is a fabulous steal... take 10% off that day... and you'll want to rack up while you can. Now.. little miss Allie has a ridiculous amount of clothes this season (big, surprise, huh??), but I'm thinking Pierce definitely may need a few of those ridiculously cute jon jons! And, so my shopping list grows. =)

Here are some of my favorite designs. They do excellent work and have promised to have a very quick turn around time for orders placed that day.
